i love food…i mean you.
Valentine’s Day – you either love it or hate it. I’m sort of stuck in the middle. I love planning a special night for just Kyle and I to spend some quality time together but I also hate how hyped up it is. There’s one thing I can tell you. If I’m celebrating Valentine’s Day, you betcha it is with some delicious food!
All of “my favorites” are items on the menu I have ordered and loved. I’m the type of person once I have been blown away by a meal, I will usually order it again and again. I would also recommend calling as soon as possible to make reservations for Valentine’s Day and any other time you visit any of these restaurants. If you are still searching for a Valentine’s Day outfit, check out a few looks I’ve put together.
5 dinner date ideas for Valentine’s Day:
From the atmosphere to the farm to table menu, Gibbet Hill Grill is one of my favorite nearby restaurants. Dinner prices range from $15 – $48.
My favorites: Cindy’s Crab Dip, Steak Frites with Truffled Shoestring Fries, Sirloin Steak Tips, Maple Glazed Carrots, Milk and Cookies
Kyle and I spent our first Valentine’s Day here. (aww, right?!) Anyone who is from Boston is probably rolling their eyes at this “chain” restaurant. Strega has locations in Woburn and other areas in Boston. Strega Waterfront already sets a romantic vibe with views of the Boston Harbor. Here is the Valentine’s Day menu.
My favorites: Tortelloni Alla Panna (I couldn’t find this on the Strega Waterfront menu but it was on the menu for Strega Ristorante in the North End)
Is anyone getting hungry yet? Kyle and I started to make it a yearly tradition to celebrate his birthday at Buckley’s. If you are looking for an amazing steak dinner – this is your place. The old farm house is cozy with different rooms making up the dining areas. Dinner prices range from $14 – $55.
My Favorites: Shrimp Bruschetta, Filet Mignon, Surf & Turf

There’s something about a street filled with Italian restaurants that screams love. Maybe it’s my love for carbs – pasta, bread and more pasta! Lucca is an intimate and romantic dining experience to celebrate your love for pasta…I mean each other. Dinner prices range from $25 – $39.
My Favorites: Calamari, Linguine, Baked Orecchiette
Pizza is LOVE. Am I right? Pastoral has a very, very special place in my heart. Kyle and I went to Pastoral for our very first date and have gone back to celebrate each year after. There’s something about pizza that brings people together – from deciding on the toppings to fighting over the last slice. Dinner prices range from $11 – $22.
My Favorites: Roast Garlic Knots, Margherita, Fennel Sausage
On a more serious note, I love celebrating love. The love between my family, friends and Kyle – it should all be celebrated and not just on February 14th. Wherever or whatever you decide to do, make it special and meaningful to the love you share with the people you love.
